This collection of photographs, shot on film, aims to capture the charm of summer and its simplest pleasures. During the hottest months of the year, people tend to be more carefree, abandoning inhibitions and restrictions. The intention was to authentically capture the details and habits that characterise people’s summer lives as they seek simple pleasures, showing behaviours that may be more controlled or repressed in other seasons, but in summer become spontaneous expressions of happiness and well-being, inviting the viewer to enjoy every little moment of pleasure that this time of year has to offer.
